Zenoss Savings Index

Calculating the Zenoss Savings Index

  • Determine the license cost savings for a single device, compared to the "Big 4". That number is about $1 per day*.
  • Determine how many devices were monitored by Zenoss each day for the past 2 years**.
  • Multiply the total number of Zenoss device-days by the average daily savings ($1) and – voila! – you get the ZSI.

* $1 per device per day conservatively determined through Big 4 public pricing, published research documents, and customer interviews.

** The number comes from completed "calls home" on each day. The actual number of devices monitored is higher.
