Joining Zenoss last month as vice president of marketing is an exciting new chapter in my own life story. As I walked the halls during the interview process, met people from various departments, saw the "Zelfie Wall" (Zelfie: A photo of oneself, taken by a Zenossian at a client site or with a client, for upload to social media and/or physical display at Zenoss headquarters.), listened to live customer conversations, and viewed the videos from GalaxZ, I knew I had found something special.
My role is to amplify the story of this winning team that has fostered a shared admiration between the company and its global customers, channel partners, and vendors. From the sales call to our solution implementation to how customers use the product, my team and I will be a part of each step as we further develop a customer-centric organization.
I want to see and hear what goes right — and yes, what goes wrong. I want to know what our customers think, and what they need and want from us. Our goal, and my job, is to win customers for life. How? Here are just three of the ways, and later I’ll share more:
- We will always operate with the highest level of integrity. That means we will always act honestly and fully respect each and every customer.
- We value customers more than a business transaction; this is a relationship. We will align processes and new solutions to their needs or jump on a plane to help a customer. This is not a cookie-cutter operation — we’ll do what’s right for the customer each and every day.
- We will always listen to our customers, truly embrace their feedback, and quickly act to do what’s right. Communication is key, and we will keep an open, long-term dialogue from their first interaction with our brand to industry events where we are speaking and creating editorial materials that enhance every single touch point.
I look forward to working with you and telling your story. Stay tuned for more information on how you can join the Zelfie Wall ASAP!
