What an event with incredible minds and super high energy! More than 25,000 attendees from a mix of small- and big-name enterprises, and a strong representation from Ops and Dev types, all increasingly looking to build hybrid cloud architectures to maximize their IT investments and realize the benefits of the cloud.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention our excitement around the needs increasing around monitoring. Early hypothesis: Because the cloud is new to the mainstream, it has been discussed less, but the problems are still real.
For instance, the number one question asked in the booth: “I need a way to see a complete view of what is going on in my legacy infrastructure and in AWS. Can you help?”
With the business goals of reducing time to market and creating cost efficiencies, many were here looking to AWS and its ecosystem to help realize the benefits of both public and hybrid architectures.
